Training family dogs is our specialty.  We routinely educate ourselves through workshops and seminars. At Shannoncourt we use science based, positive reinforcement training methods that get results. We teach people and dogs how to be on the same team. We do not use choke chains or other outdated, forceful methods. Our classes are fun for people and dogs.  We accept all dog breeds in our training programs. Our classes and private lessons are held inside during the winter months and on rain days. When the weather permits, lessons are held in our on site fully fenced Courtyard Park.

Daycare or Pet Hotel Training
$45 for a 45 minute lesson
(daycare / pet hotel charge for the day still applies) 

Let a professional train your dog while he/she is at Shannoncourt, when you pick up you pooch, the trainer will show you how to maintain your dog’s new skills. You may book as many lessons as you like. Some people book two a day and some two a month! The choice is yours.

Note:If you would like to attend class lessons but your dog is over five months old, and has not attended puppy kindergarten, you are required to take three to five private lessons first. We will prepare your dog to enter at the beginning of level 2 class. 

Puppy kindergarten (dogs under 5 months)- basic obedience and manners

Puppy class socialization

Level 2 -(after puppy k or 3-5 private lessons.) more advanced obedience and hand signals

after completing level 2 we recommend continuing with sport dog lessons

Sport Dog Lessons
